Ayurveda is a 5,000-year-old system of medicine that treats the root cause of imbalance rather than managing symptoms. Where conventional medicine focuses on the disease, Ayurveda focuses on the individual โ€” your unique constitution, digestion, sleep, stress patterns, and seasonal rhythms. At AyuNidhi, we combine this ancient framework with a systems-thinking approach to create a protocol specific to you.

We commonly work with hormonal imbalance, chronic stress, digestive issues, fatigue, disrupted sleep, and anxiety. Ayurveda and yoga therapy address these by identifying the underlying imbalance in your constitution rather than treating each symptom separately.

No prior knowledge needed. The initial consultation starts with understanding your unique constitution (prakriti) and current state of balance. Everything is explained in plain language. Most clients come in curious but unfamiliar โ€” that's exactly the right starting point.

Yes. All services except Shirodhara are available virtually through Practice Better, a secure client portal. Virtual clients receive the same personalized protocols, follow-up support, and program access as in-person clients. This makes AyuNidhi accessible to clients outside Encinitas and North County San Diego.

Shirodhara is an Ayurvedic treatment in which warm oil is poured in a continuous, steady stream over the forehead. It deeply calms the nervous system and is particularly effective for stress, anxiety, mental fatigue, and sleep disruption. At AyuNidhi, we use Shirobliss technology to maintain precise oil temperature throughout the session. Sessions last approximately 60 minutes.

The Ayu Method is AyuNidhi's flagship 3-month 1:1 wellness program. It combines Ayurvedic consultations, personalized diet and lifestyle protocols, yoga therapy, and ongoing support to address the root cause of chronic imbalance โ€” not just the symptoms. It's designed for women who have tried other approaches and want a structured, individualized path to lasting change.

Founder Manjul Mishra brings more than 20 years of engineering experience to her practice โ€” specifically the root-cause analysis and systems-thinking she applied at Siemens. That lens shapes how she approaches every client: not what symptoms to suppress, but what underlying pattern is driving them. She is NAMA board-certified, RYT-500, a trained iRest Yoga Nidra teacher, and author of The Power Within (2025).

The best first step is taking the free dosha quiz at ayunidhi.com โ€” it identifies your Ayurvedic constitution and gives you a personalized starting point. From there, you can book a discovery call or schedule an initial consultation. In-person sessions are held Sundays at Bamboo Garden Wellness Center in Encinitas. Virtual sessions are available through Practice Better.
